Welcome To Tasmania Postcard

While I've sold the occasional titbit of art, this is my first attempt at making any sort of product with the aim to sell it!

I might get the opportunity to do some painting at the local maritime museum at the same time some cruise ship will be in port, full of yummy tourists.
Picking a Tasmanian maritime subject was hard, I needed something that would appeal to both myself and others. The Spirit of Tasmania is hugely iconic to our state, and brings much needed tourism. We also have a fair amount of Blue Ringed Octopuses in our waters; and I was told just the other day that they can get as large as my hand!(I might have small-ish hands, but still, that's bigger than I thought!) 

A common phrase I hear non-Australians use when referring to Australia is 'Australia: Where everything can kill you', which just makes me laugh. XD But I thought, 'Well, why not just play along with that?'
